Elsa

Children's Profiles

Meet Elsa..

  • My best activity is getting messy and muddy in the garden.
  • I love a good tune and will sing along very loudly and maybe I do not know all the words but please join in.
  • My carer says I have a smile that lights up the whole world and has lots of love to give.
  • I forgot to say I like to feed and push my dollies in their pushchairs.

Three-year-old Elsa was born prematurely at 33 weeks and has spent the majority of her life in hospital due to her complex medical needs. She is smaller than average for her age and has been diagnosed with rib fusion and scoliosis, however, this does not stop Elsa from doing anything she wants to do! She walks confidently, and will run and climb and is currently in good physical health. Elsa has lung disease and earlier intervention will be needed if she gets a chest infection.

Elsa loves playing alongside other children, her favourite activities are playing with water and sand trays. Elsa is unsure of eating food orally at the moment, but is enjoying getting messy exploring different foods and textures! Elsa has a limited range of words due to developmental delay, however her words are expanding daily.

Elsa needs a family who can support her health, cultural and social needs and keep up with her energy! A family who can continue to provide a fun and nurturing home in which she can grow.
